Danielle Abitbol, an artist of which art has various aspects (Painter, Sculptor and Jewelery Designer with ancient beads) was born in Marrakesh, Morocco in 1950. In 1976, she moved to Milan, Italy, where she attended the school of art “Brera”. In 1985, Danielle migrated to Israel and continued her studies at the Museum of Herzeliya, there she specialized in painting techniques, especially oil painting. Her work is profoundly influenced by the French impressionists; such is evident in her paintings mostly because of their remarkable luminosity.

"The Search for beauty" is expressed and portrayed in all of Danielle's works in which are visible, a continuous use of "chiaro/scuro" and "sfumato" techniques giving the paintings a symbolic value. In her works of art the landscapes painted, create an environment which represents the elementary forces of nature and the emotional tension that "breaks through" by only using an "Impressionistic paint stroke". The harmony of the colors, the intensity, the luminosity, the dramatic contrasts, are all used in order to create a special atmosphere and to transform the poetic landscapes into dreamy colors.

The artist, Danielle, is a "climate" painter, as defined in English a painter of "moods" and not of fashion. Her Intense love for the reflecting landscapes, drove the artist to arrive to "Giverny”, the garden of the famous Impressionist Painter, Claude Monet, in order to photograph the wonders and get inspiration for her future works of art. A century apart, the artist paints in her unique way; the nymphs; the wild foliage; the reflections of the trees and sky in the water, and manages to combine a romantic desire and harmony of nature.

The characteristics of her work resembles the remarks and critics the "impressionistic paintings were given at the time: "astounding painting without a figure drawing or border ...canticle with no need for words ...where the art ...without figures, without vignette ...without anecdotes ...without fables ...allegories ...with no body or face ...by the only virtue that lies in the tones of the colors ... is nothing but a lyrical effusion where the heart is told and its story and emotions sung ...
