Creation of Ancient Beads Necklaces and Earrings

Traveling the world and searching for beauty, Danielle has collected for years ancient and collectible beads. Beads are part of every culture and used as personal adornments. Beads have been used throughout the world as Talismans in prehistoric societies, as status symbol in the ancient world, and as standard medium  of barter Throughout the world.Each bead is therefore a capsule of cultural information, containing a fascinating tale  of the origin of its material,Its manufacture, its multi fold uses, perhaps its travels, and certainly its potent symbolism.

The beauty of the ancient beads, the huge variety, the rarity, the mystery behind these small archaeological items gave the  artist the incentive to study this field. She was fascinated by the history, technology, cultural context, Colorful aspect behind these pieces of stones, bones, sea shells, glasses, Cristal,  that are thousand years old!

Therefore, the artist decided to use her private collection of ancient beads in an artistic way, creating one of the kind and unique necklaces and earrings using ancient and collectible beads  such as semi precious stones, Agate, coral, rock Cristal, roman glass, carnelian, lapis lazuli, venetian, amber, Phoenician, Egyptian and Islamic beads.

In her jewelry, the artist use beads that were found in the holy land, (after their long travel throughout the world) In the time frame from 4000 BCE, Calcolotic era, up to the late Islamic period 15th century CE.In fact, the land of Israel was the centre of the ancient world, bridje between the 3 continents, Asia, Africa and Europe. Therefore the variety of the ancient beads we found in Israel is hudge, representing almost every kind of material used for the ancient beads.
